Supertree by Indochine

When in Singapore, there is no way of not visiting Gardens by the Bay. However, for those who have too little time to look at the botanical gardens or who would rather invest the admission money in a drink, the Super Trees will be the place to be, as they are the highlight of the gardens. The plants-covered steel frames are between 25 and 50 meters high. They are used for the breeding of rare plants and at night lit by solar power. Rain is collected in their funnels for the irrigation of the plants. Some of the trees serve as cooling towers for the cooling systems of the garden's domes. Two of the towers are connected with a bridge at a staggering height.
In one of the trees you will find the Indochine, a restaurant with a cocktail lounge on the roof terrace, from where you can enjoy a spectacular view onto the city.

We visited the Super Tree forest at night, but just missed the light show that started at 8:45, other than what we could see and hear from a short distance away.
They have the light shows with music every night at 7:45 and 8:45 and you can walk into the Meadows area to watch the show with no entry fee.
Definitely see it during the day, and at night.

Supertree by Indochine offers a "timeless classic" with a beautiful panoramic view of Gardens By The Bay that is perfect for intimate dinners as well as large groups.

There is also an exclusive Rooftop Bar with a S$20 entry fee for those only interested in libations with an exceptional view.

The menu is inspired by traditional Asian Fusion cuisine with a modern flare making it a great atmosphere for any occasion.

We ordered the followings:

PLATTERS
It featured crispy chicken rice cake rolls, poached prawn rolls, grilled sea squid, scallop rolls and Kurobuta Lychee beignets accompanied by two types of dipping sauces were all excellent!

STEAMED SEAFOOD CURRY
A medley of seafood cooked in a coconut curry sauce wrapped in a banana leaf and steamed. The dish was rich and creamy full of wonderful curry flavors.

SEARED SMOKED DUCK
Tender duck fillets were lightly seared and dressed with black truffle mushroom sauce.

VIETNAMESE LUC LAC
Beef sautéed in spices, herbs and melted butter served on a hot plate with a sweet-sour dip. This entree leaned more on the sweet side which I'm not too fond of.

We also ordered a Singapore Sling and Jade Martini cocktails. Both were perfect with our meal!

Everything was delightful and the 360° view was beyond amazing.

Entry fee comes with a beer $20 or soft drink $12.

TDLR: not worth it, just pay for the sky bridge instead.

Maybe it's a Singaporean thing but service has been largely horrendous with rude servers at like +50% of the places I've been to.

I'm asian and eat at asian places all the time and I don't expect awesome service but this is like even below my low expectations.

Drink is not cheap in Singapore, I think S$20 is reasonable with outrageous 360° view from top of Super Tree!
We ordered appetizers... to be honest, I did not expect that "fusion" would be tasty. But this place is out of my expectation. We tried little bit of everything, they are all good.
Of course, this is a tourist spot. It is a great place to hang out at the dusk time to see Singapore. Highly recommend this place if you visit Singapore!

Expensive but the view is absolutely worth it. Absolutely beautiful. We opted for the drink ticket package and I'd absolutely do it again. When in Rome, right? I'll absolutely pay a premium to sip a wine on top of a SUPER TREE!!!

Just know what you're getting here. I didn't try the food but I did see some dishes that came out looking delish.

My boyfriend and I decided to give this a try since we got to the night show relatively early and we were quite hungry. It cost about $20 SGD per person for entrance fee, which includes one free drink which is reasonable.

Pros: Really a spectacular view. My boyfriend and I was here when there was still some sunlight and stayed until the sun went down. I really enjoyed the view and it felt somewhat "romantic". A great place to take amazing photography.

Cons: You don't get to see the night show from here, so don't come up here expecting to see the night show. The food is very very overpriced for mediocre food, but it is what it is since it's a tourist area. Yes there's an open bar, but seats can be limited. It's not a huge area so expect to not have a place to sit, which is a bummer.

Definitely give it a try if you want to experience the view, but not somewhere I'll come back for a small snack or meal. Way too expensive.

The food is surprisingly good. At first sight you wouldn't think so. There's a fee to enter but your first drink is free (however limited to a small menu).

I had the seafood coconut curry with sticky rice and some type of green tea cheesecake with chocolate ice cream. Both were very good and I would recommend.

Lastly, there is the view of course ;-)...

A must do if in Singapore!

OMG!!! This place is just so gorgeous!!! It should be a must-go place when you visit Singapore. I traveled Singapore with my sister over the summer for three days and my favorite moment was at the top of this restaurant tree.

Technically, I paid $12 (Singaporean) to buy a cup of orange juice and the scenery!!! I went around 7pmish and stayed maybe for about an hour looking at the sunset! When the sun is out, you can see the sea and land of Singapore and when the sun goes down, you can see the lights of the city!

Honestly, at first I thought $12 for a cup of orange juice was so expensive but I decided to give it a try since I was "traveling". But really!!! You can experience the beauty of Singapore with this view!
I loved Singapore because of this place and would 10/10 recommend!!!!

I was led here by a group of my work colleagues whose ideas for dining in Singapore were quite different from my own. We were here to see the daily light show in the gardens and then decided to stay to have drinks at the rooftop bar to take in the view.

We each paid $18 and took the elevator up to the top. The entry fee comes with a ticket for a drink. We easily found a spot to settle in and ordered drinks. We also asked for water but despite a few requests where we were told it wasn't available and they would then speak with their manager, it never arrived. However, the cocktails, wine and food we ordered, did arrive with no issues.

We decided to stay for dinner and ordered the appetizer sampler platter to share. Despite being so dark that I could not see what I was eating. The chicken wing, spring roll and whatever else I was eating were pretty decent, but typical bar food. It was nothing special and most certainly NOT on my list of foods to try in Singapore. The white wine I had was equivalent to a house wine, and nothing special.

The views from the bar were okay but after sunset all we saw were lights. I'm sure it would have been much better at dusk when we would have had a better view of the Singapore skyline.

This is your standard tourist trap. Everyone around us looked like tourists or folks on a business dinner. The food is pedestrian and way overpriced. You're paying for the view. Service was okay, not great. My recommendation is to stay for a drink or two to take in the view but head elsewhere to dine.

Experience was worth it but service is terrible and they know they have you so prices are extremely high! But where else are you going to get a view of Marina Bay Sands from the top of the trees???? Food was delicious and well presented. The drinks were also good, when we could find a server to order one...... worth the experience for the view, but I wouldn't seek out this restaurant for any other reason. One and done!
